REVIEW 28 Days Later #19
In this issue of the 28 Days comic the focus is on Selena. Secrets of her past become revealed as she an Clint are finally confronted with Captain Stiles and the reason behind his persistent pursuit of Selena. This series continues to flesh out the stories after the movie 28 Days.
There is no presence of the infected in this story but Stiles is a chilling villain even wounded. The action concludes on a small boat which Clint is forced to abandon Selena. It was interesting to learn a bit more of Selena’s character fleshed out and how Stiles mission correlates to events in the movie.
Michael Alan Nelson’s script really gives a look into Serena’s past, while Aragon‘s art really captures the emotions visually. Aragon also does a great job portraying the menacing aspects of Captain Stiles. With the reason behind Stiles consistent pursuit revealed I’m looking forward to seeing how this story arc concludes.
