Rest Easy TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLE FANS The Release Date Is Not Being Pushed Back
Yesterday there was a bit of an uproar because a website Geeks of Doom reported that nearly one third of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie needed to be re-filmed. With that amount of filming they were preparing fans to expect the movie to be pushed back quite some time. They even speculated that current director Jonathan Liebesman wouldn’t be involved in the re-shoots and that producer Michael Bay would handle them.
However, today is a new day and turtle fans can breath a little sigh of relief. MichaelBay.com has taken to twitter to quash the rumor. The offical site of Bay was asked if the recent rumor was true that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be pushed back to December, and their answer was quite short and to the point, “Not true.” As if you needed any more proof, you can check out the exchange on Twitter below.

So what does this mean? Nothing new really. The film is still on schedule for its August 8th release date. This rumor seemed pretty far fetched to start with, but now it’s nice to be able to debunk it completely.
