Report Claims DC Will Announce BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT Game Tomorrow

by

batmanWe’ve been hearing a lot about the impending announcement for the next game in the mega-successful Batman: Arkham franchise. An announcement is said to be coming soon, but it could come as early as tomorrow. Gamestops across the country have been getting Batman banners (like the one pictured above) with specific instructions not to put them up in stores until this week. Earlier today DC teased a big game announcement on tomorrow’s episode of the YouTube series DC All Access, but it seems the cat…or rather Bat, has been let out of the bag tonight.

Tomorrow DC will talk about their online game Infinite Crisis and another mystery game. While there hasn’t been official word on a new Arkham game, Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy confirmed he had worked on a new video game he couldn’t talk about. He wasn’t involved with Arkham Origins, so judging from his comments, whatever he’s worked on will be released sometime this year. Bleeding Cool have the scoop on the big announcement tomorrow. They say that the game is called Batman: Arkham Knight and it will follow “all the other Arkham games.” They had no details other than the title and that one line of information, but they called John Romita Jr.‘s big All Access appearance the day before, so they definitely have knowledge about the videos before they post. RockSteady was said to be working on another Batman game, so there is a possibility this is the one they’ve been keeping secret. If that is indeed announced tomorrow, we can expect further details then. What do you think about Batman: Arkham Knight being the next game in the series? Are you glad that it appears Conroy is back voicing the Bat?
