101 ARTIST 12 WRITERS 2 EDITORS participated in this event and Tucson’s own, Ross Demma, had this to say about his experience taking part in the making of such comic: “Once the nerve-wracking pressure subsided, I found an incredible feeling in that I was a tiny piece in a bigger picture. This moment was bigger than any one of us and I was honored to be a part of it.”

Jimmy Jay, the convention director had this to say: 2014 Amazing Arizona Comic Con expanded our programming this year- and i think this was a one in the right direction. We had 3 tracks of programming over the weekend, with bigger responses from the fans. Highlights included maximum capacity screenings of the Image Documentary, The Walking Dead Panel, and Costume contest. Other highlights included Legends of the Knight screening, and the standing room room only Rob Liefeld Final Word panel.
Once again this was a fun event with activities for all ages. Jay continues: “Kid’s Day was again our biggest themed event for Amazing Arizona Comic Con. Mat Nastos greeted literally hundreds of families, while providing Disney Phineas & Ferb Sketches. My Little Pony Artist Tony Fleecs contributed to an hour of power of fan sketching, and of course Boom Studios represented with all things Adventure Time and More!”
Amazing Arizona Comic Con keeps getting better and better each year, and I can’t wait to see what they have planned for next year! But while we wait of next year check out some of the pictures of the event by clicking HERE
