The Look-Ahead On SUPERNATURAL Season 8!!

Wow, season 8 on one of the most heavily journeyed series on the eventual elimination of all unworldly evil from the face of the earth….SUPERNATURAL. Seems only yesterday that the Winchesters and friends started their endless road trip crusade. Now, we are up to what could be the final season of this ordeal. Comic Book Therapy gives a quick wrap-up on last season and on what to expect this Season 8 first episode onward.
When we last left our heroes at season 7′s end, Sam and Dean gave a tear-jerking silent farewell release of the ghost of their fallen and longtime friend, mentor, and father figure, Bobby Singer. Continuing on, they were also on the last ditch effort collecting all of the necessary artifacts noted in the Word of God on how to rid a Leviathan. Successful as they were against all that though, along with rescuing the new Lord’s prophet Kevin Tran, they were thwarted in the end by conniving king of hell boss Crowley. Crowley, having kept secrets on how to carefully kill Dick Roman, was able to allow Dean and Castiel to be yanked away somewhere by the impending explosion upon Roman’s destruction. Crowley and his minions made off with kidnapping Kevin and Meg as well, leaving Sam suddenly all on his own. The worse of this, of course, Dean and Castiel’s newly apparent dilemma; trapped in the dead of night, NOT on this earth, but in that somewhere called PURGATORY. Soon, after realizing their predicament, Castiel flees from Dean’s side, forcing him to fend for himself in the night (with creatures gathering about him) ALONE. Pretty tough there…
SPN Season 7 Eps. 23: Dean Kills Dick Roman, Sam is sadly and truly on his own…
Not to fear SPN fans…as it appears that Season shows some relief in this new struggle. The new season 8 trailer previews shows a rescued and returned Dean and with him and Sam reuniting again. Details feature a quick look on of Dean and Castiel’s struggle in Purgatory that tumultuous year. They then venture onto a brief journey that leads them right back in finding Kevin Tran, recently escaped from Crowley’s sinister clutches. The preview also notes a new discovery in the Word of God noting a way to seal the gates of hell FOREVER. Looks also like Kevin’s girlfriend gets caught in the middle of the deal and eventually joins the gang from then on. The battle is on!
