Swamp Thing and Animal Man go together like peanut butter and jelly, Bonnie and Clyde, Thelma and Louise, Laverne and Shirley, Lucy and Ricky, and so on and so forth. Now, you don’t have to read them together to understand the overall story, each book is self-contained, but it is magically if you do read both A-Man and Swampy together.
Swamp Thing #16 brings back main artist Yanick Paquette, as last issue was Marco Rudy’s last issue of Swamp Thing, and it’s getting closer and closer till Scott Snyder steps down and Charles Soule (27) steps up to writing duties after issue #17.
