Preview: Stunning Artwork For ORIGINAL SIN And AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1
Today has seen the release of some impressive unlettered preview pages for two of Marvel‘s most anticipated events. Jason Aaron and artist Mike Deodato are getting ready to kill The Watcher in the mega-event Original Sin, and writer Dan Slott and artist Humberto Ramos will be relaunching Amazing Spider-Man with the honest-to-goodness Peter Parker back behind the mask. While Parker is technically back now, things won’t really get rolling until he shows up in his newly relaunched book.
Marvel E-I-C- Axel Alonso took to Twitter to unveil some snazzy spreads and single pages from Deodato for Original Sin featuring many of the Avengers and the much discussed team-up of Frank Castle and Dr. Strange. Aaron has described those two men working together as a buddy cop comedy/drama, and I for one can’t wait to see it unfold on the printed page. Below that you can check out Ramos‘ pages for Amazing Spider-Man #1 from CBR. Slott has said one of his stories will focus on how the spider that turned Peter Parker into a hero actually bit another person too. They didn’t become a hero though. We’ll have to wait and see how that unfolds. What do you think about the preview pages?
