Preview: Writer Ray Fawkes ‘Batgirl’ #17

So, remember when Batgirl writer Gail Simone got fired by e-mail and then DC announced Ray Fawkes (One Soul, co-writing Justice League Dark and Constantine with Jeff Lemire) would take over writing duties for Batgirl. However, a couple of days later it was then announced that Ray Fawkes would only take over for two issues (#17 and #18) and Gail Simone would resume as Batgirl writer starting with issue #19.

I was definitely scratching my head at this scenario…

However, today we have the pleasure of bringing you the preview pages for Batgirl #17, which is Ray Fawkes take on some brother and sister drama post “Death of The Family.”
