The soon to be classic Christmas movie Django Unchained has a comic book adaptation coming out December 19th. The book, announced at Comic Con earlier this year, features a story adapted from Quentin Tarantino’s screenplay with art by R.M. Guera and Jason Latour. The book will be published by DC imprint Vertigo due to its mature content. The first few pages of Django Unchained #1 were posted on a French website by Guera earlier today, but Moviefone posted to official release.

• Oscar-winning writer/director Quentin Tarantino’s latest epic film script is adapted for comics!

• The blood-soaked tale of a bounty-hunting dentist and his partner, a recently freed slave, in the post-Civil War South!

• This is an adaptation of the full screenplay, including scenes that may not make it into the final theatrical cut!
