Possible SPOILERS: THE WALKING DEAD Episode 409 Overview

The Walking Dead mid season premiere returns this Sunday, and fans around the globe are impatiently waiting for its return.

I’ve had the opportunity of watching the episode last week (courtesy of AMC), and I can tell you this: YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED.

Obviously I won’t give out any spoilers, but I will do an overview of the episode.

It is no secret that this episode will focus mainly on Rick and Carl as they escaped the prison attack by the Governor and his army, and we see them looking for shelter. Rick is beaten up wounded pretty bad since the governor beat him up mercilessly in the previous episode. Plus he got shot in the leg, so things are not looking too well for him. Add that to the fact that he might’ve lost his daughter Judith in the carnage, and we have a one messed up dude.

The opening scene it’s very, let’s say, emotional and a tad gruesome, but that’s nothing new, right? I mean we are talking about The Walking Dead here. This scene will play with your emotions and make you feel…stuff…things…

What can I tell you about Carl?
Carl is a total badass in this episode, he is not the whiny kid that wouldn’t stay inside the house anymore. We the audience, will feel his pain and witness that Carl is not a kid anymore. Remember, he was forced to grow up really fast, and this episode plays deep into that.

There are some scenes that jump out straight from the comic book, and it will definitely have fans cheering.

Now about those rumors.
One of the rumors going around the web is that we will see some characters from the last episode return. Specifically character(s) that we thought we were not going to see anymore. Yes we will see some characters returning to this episode, BUT……well just wait and see.

One of the things that liked is that we see something we haven’t seen before in The Walking Dead show, and it’s actually a little disturbing. I’m talking about a scene were we explore the origins of one of the characters.

We get to see some new characters in this episode. Well, I’m not sure if I should use the term “new” but we will learn new things from them. Let’s just leave it at that. I hate to be so cryptic but I want you all to enjoy the episode.

Another thing is that there is a lot of action. Are you a fan of katana swords? You won’t be disappointed then. I must warn you, this is not an episode with just hack and slash action, it is very emotional. We get to see our characters in their most vulnerable moments. We feel their pain, loss and suffering.

I’m curious to see how the writers and producers are going to top this episode, I mean the season finale it’s gonna have to be insane!

So far you have been a good reader, so:

How about a little spoiler?

You are still reading? Ok.

One thing that happens in this episode is that someone throws up. Hahaha. I had to say it. Is not a huge spoiler, but you will remember I said it.

Now what can I say about the ending? I liked it, actually I loved it and I’m sure you will too. You don’t get to see these types of endings that often in the world of The Walking Dead, so it’s nice to see something like this.

But don’t fool yourselves, there’s a lot of unanswered questions that remain to be answered in the following episodes, so stay tuned.

Overall, a great episode with lots of action and emotional moments. You are going to really enjoy it. Trust me, the wait is worth it.
