A Plethora Of New Images From THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Swing Online

by

Sony has been ramping up the marketing for the release of its highly anticipated sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man. Just before the new year, we got a brand new trailer that was so full of Easter eggs and goodies that you’d expect to find Hugh Jackman in a bunny suit to deliver it to your door (think about that one for a bit). Then, on New Year’s Eve, a special trailer was delivered, showing more of the destruction that Electro delivers on Times Square that looks to be one of the major actions scenes from the film. As we move closer to the May 2nd release date, it’s a guarantee that more trailers, clips and pics will be headed our way.

Today, for instance, the folks at Total Film have revealed several new images for us to enjoy, some of them have some interesting tid bits to reveal. Take a close look at Gwen, played by Emma Stone, and you’ll notice she is wearing an outfit that could be quite spoilerish. You also have the image of Electro, played by Jamie Foxx, hooked up to the machinery that converts him to the electric powerhouse we know and love. In that same image, you’ll see that Dane DeHaan’s Harry Osborne moving in for a closer look. Not to mention all the nods to what are sure to be some incredible action sequences.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 sees Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Sally Field, Martin Sheen and Chris Zylka all reprise their roles, with Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper, Colm Feore and Paul Giamatti all joining the cast. The film, directed once again by Marc Webb, will hit theaters May 2nd.
