Optimus Prime Brings The Pain In Latest TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION Trailer
As promised last night, a brand new trailer for Michael Bay’s latest venture in the Transformers franchise. The previous trailers have been more focused on setting up where Optimus Prime has been hiding out since the events that occurred in Chicago and the distrust of the humans is at an all-time high. The robots, both Autobots and Decpiticons have been forced into hiding. This new trailer, however, puts the focus back on the action, as it is chock full of Bay-hem and explosions and the eradication of human-kind. Sound familiar?
The trailer features all sorts of new footage, including Optimus Prime doing what he does best and laying the smack down on Decepticon punks. During the final moments of the trailer, you can hear Prime stating that he needs a new army. I can only assume that this is where the Dinobots, which include Grimlock, Slug, Slog, Snarl, Strafe, Scorn and Slash, will come into play. We also learned not too long ago that iconic voice actor Frank Welker would be voicing the ultimate Transformer baddie, Galvatron, but there’s a twist to his character. It seems that this version is a man-made robot that goes awry. This new trailer teases that technology.
Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters June 23rd and stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Titus Welliver, Kelsey Grammer, TJ Miller and Bingbing Li.
