‘Oldboy’ NYCC Poster: Spike Lee’s Newest Joint Starring Josh Brolin
Spike Lee’s newest joint “Oldboy,” is set to hit theaters November 27th, and today, Entertainment Weekly revealed a New York Comic Con poster. It features Joe (Josh Brolin) holding a hammer in one hand and making a fist with the other. There’s also a giant hole in his chest.
Park Chan-wook’s 2003 “Oldboy” is a film that holds a special place in my heart, so I’m eager to see what Spike Lee does with his remake.

“Oldboy” is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.
