Old Thor Showcased In Final Thor: God Of Thunder Sketchbook
Over the past few days we’ve been showing you the sketchbook entries Marvel released for Thor: God of Thunder by Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic. We’ve seen young Thor and present Thor, so the final entry is of course future Thor. The old man Thor is the last of his kind. As we’ve seen in the three issues out now, old Thor is locked in a near endless battle with the minions of the god butcher. Thor is missing an arm so he’s rigged up a Destroyer armor prosthetic. Before you check out Ribic’s sketches, here’s what the book’s writer had to say about old Thor:
Meet the Thor from the end of time. With the eye patch and the long white beard, King Thor looks a bit like his dad, Odin. He even wields his father’s sword. But he’s a very different sort of All-Father, in a far different time.
