Nixon And Protestors Feature In Bryan Singer’s Latest Days Of Future Past Twitter Teasers

XMenDaysofFuturePastIf the clothes weren’t enough of a hint for you, Bryan Singer goes full-on ’70s in his latest Twitter teasers. The director and Twitter junkie teased a big meeting in the Oval Office with President Nixon and a large group of Vietnam protestors. Presumably the two scene are related. The Nixon scene was filmed yesterday and the external shot of the crowd took place today. While there were plenty enough reasons to be protesting in the ’70s, I would venture a guess that it is somehow related to mutants as well. The Days of Future Past storyline featured a planned mutant attack on Senator Robert Kelly. Since Kelly featured prominently in Singer‘s first round of X-Men movies, he may well have changed that part. The below meeting could be related to that. With Nixon having a cameo, he could either be getting some Intel on who the target is or he could be finding out he’s the intended target. That would definitely raise the stakes of the story. What do you think?
