New Toy Images Based On The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings Released
All five films were directed by Peter Jackson (“King Kong“). The group has released Lego toys based on such hits as “Harry Potter” and “Batman: The Dark Knight.”
The story of The Hobbit (split in two films) narrates the adventures of Bilbo at the time he meets the wizard Gandalf the Grey. Accompanied by the dwarf Thorin Oakenshield and twelve companions, the magician asks Bilbo aid to invade the lair of a dangerous dragon, Smaug, and retrieve a valuable treasure of the family of Thorin. During this adventure, Bilbo will find the ring, whose power is still unknown to him.

“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” hits theaters on December 14, 2012. The second part of the movie premieres in December 13, 2013. Directed by Peter Jackson from a screenplay he co-wrote with Guillermo Del Toro (“Pan’s Labyrinth“), Philippa Boyens and Fran Walsh (the trilogy “The Lord of the Rings“).
