New The Hobbit Production Video

Peter Jackson and the whole crew give us a great look at filming for The Hobbit. The production video is actually about part 2, one of the first looks we’ve had at the second part of the Lord Of The Rings prequel. The cast and crew are seen on location, plus there are interviews with the cast including the elusive Martin Freeman and Sir Ian McKellen. Be sure to check out the dwarf barrel river ride scene toward the end of the video.

The Hobbit is of course based on J.R.R Tolkien‘s book, is directed by Peter Jackson and stars Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Andy Serkis (who is also second unit director), Benedict Cumberbatch and numerous others. Part 1 comes out this December with Part 2 following in December of 2013.
