The most we have seen out of Nickelodeon’s new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cartoon was some brief trailers and some pictures. At Comic Con, Nick had an all out push with all kinds of free swag to promote the new toon out September 29th. During a panel they also showcased several new clips, three of which have found their way online
First up is the new title sequence. You can tell the song is inspired by the 1980s, even using the famous “turtles in a half-shell. Turtle power.”

The second clip shows off the turtles first meeting with the evil brain Kraang. Not only have the turtles been updated and animated differently, but Kraang has a slight redesign as well.

And finally we have the best clip of the bunch. We see the boys doing a little sparring. The action in this clip is pretty well done. The overall toon seems to have a slightly anime edge with a little Ultimate Spider-Man.

There you have a good look at the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. What do you think? There’s a brief glimpse of Shredder, we see Donnie, Ralph, Mikey, and Leo as well as Master Splinter. What are your thoughts on the new look?
