New Star Trek Into Darkness TV Spot And Character Posters Hit
The MTV Movie Awards are on right now. Don’t worry if you’re not watching them, you’re not missing much. A new Star Trek Into Darkness TV spot premiered during all the festivities, and it’s now online. The spot features a few snippets of new footage and dialogue. If that wasn’t enough J.J. Abrams goodness for you, several new character posters and a banner have been released. The banner is from the latest poster we’ve seen with the Enterprise falling to Earth. The character posters shows off Kirk, Spock, Uhura, and Benedict Cumberbatch‘s “John Harrison.” The first three images come via Collider who spotted them at CinemaCon. The Spock and Uhura posters come via SFX. What do you think of the new spots and posters?
When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.
With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.
