New Round Of Candidates For Harry Osborn Role

It wasn’t even a week ago that we heard Marc Webb was looking at three actors to play Harry Osborn in The Amazing Spider-Man sequel. Those contenders were reportedly being looked at for an “edgier and darker” Harry instead of the athletic and handsome take they had been kicking around. It seems that they’ve changed there minds and started the look anew. Now there are 4 new actors in the race.
According the The Hollywood Reporter, the producers and filmmakers are seeking actors that are athletic and good looking now. Many people’s frontrunner, Chronicle’s Dane DeHaan, is said to be out of the running. Now actors Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Eddie Redmayne (Marius in the upcoming Les Miserables), Douglas Booth (LOL), and Boyd Holbrook (Hatfields and McCoys) are the new batch being considered.
While it is somewhat disappointing that DeHaan is out of the running, it’s worth waiting and seeing how Webb and the crew choose to take on the Harry Osborn role before getting too bummed out. Out of the new list, who would you like to see take up the role?
