marvelAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is going on a break next week so ABC and Marvel can air a special one-hour program that goes behind the scenes of the cinematic universe and gives us new looks at Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and our first look at Avengers: Age of Ultron. While a new episode of S.H.I.E.L.D. won’t air, there will also be special teasers for the remainder of season one. Marvel describes the special event as something that will “give viewers a “front row seat to the inception of Marvel Studios, the record-breaking films, the cultural phenomenon, and further expansion of the universe by Marvel Television.” Two special promos for the must-see event have been released.

The first promo aired shortly after this week’s episode of S.H.I.E.L.D. featuring Lady Sif. The second promo is an extended look at the actual show that touches on the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One thing that will score even more brownie points for Kevin Feige with fans is his comments about the various characters and how he doesn’t “believe in the tiers. I don’t believe in A-tier, B-tier, C-tier. It’s up to us to make them all A because in the comics they are.” Will you be tuning in March 18th?
