New Preview Of Mark Waid’s Green Hornet #1

Dynamite announced that Mark Waid would be writing a new Green Hornet series at New York Comic Con a few months ago. The series quickly became one the most anticipated book as Waid promised to tell an old school Green Hornet story that also looks at Britt Reid’s darker days. One word that Waid has brought up in several interviews is hubris. We’ll see what happens when Britt starts to believe his own press and gets a little too cocky. Comic Vine spoke with the writer about the series and unveiled a new look at issue #1, which kicks off this Wednesday, March 27.
The Hornet faces his most dangerous enemy ever–an egotistical, arrogant Britt Reid! In his alter-ego as a powerful newspaper publisher, the Hornet has lost control, becoming a social crusader far too sure of himself and of his judgment.
