New Poster For ‘The Conjuring’ Will Make Your Skin Crawl
Warner Bros. Picture‘s “The Conjuring” is set to come out this summer and is guaranteed to scary the crap out of people. “Saw” and “Insidious” director, James Wan, will be handling directing duties and will star Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Haley McFarland, Mackenzie Foy, Kyla Deaver, and Sterling Jerins. According to the MPAA, “The Conjuring” received a R-rating for being “too scary.”
When we sent it [to MPAA], they gave us the R-rating,” said producer Walter Hamada. “When we asked them why, they basically said, ‘It’s just so scary. [There are] no specific scenes or tone you could take out to get it PG-13.
