New Poster For 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE Hits Online

300: Rise Of An Empire is still a couple months out, but that’s not going to stop the marketing machine from running. Legendary, who developed the movie when they were still under contract with Warner Brothers, has posted a new poster on their Facebook page for the film.

The poster features star Sullivan Stapleton as Themistocles giving the camera a good flex while about to plunge his sword into a bad guy. Check it out below, and catch the movie when it’s released on March 7th later this year.

Based on Frank Miller’s latest graphic novel Xerxes and told in the breathtaking visual style of the blockbuster “300,” this new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield-on the sea-as Greek general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. “300: Rise of an Empire” pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), and Artemisia (Eva Green), vengeful commander of the Persian navy.10184_582280671855011_1152778861_n
