New Details On Why The Flash Visits Starling City In The Upcoming Season Of Arrow
A lot of people are still talking about the news that broke earlier this week that Barry Allen, aka The Flash, will be making a stop by Starling City. Not only will he be dropping by for a couple episodes, but he will also get a back door pilot to see if he can pull his own weight and take on his own series. Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg will be running the show, with David Nutter directing the pilot that will air during the 20th episode of season two of Arrow.
With all the details that we have gotten for the show some things are still shrouded in mystery. Such as we don’t know why Barry comes Starling City in the first place. Matt Webb Mitovich over at TV Line has heard some rumblings that will sound very familiar to comic fans. According to Mitovich Barry, who wont have his super speed yet, make the trip into Oliver’s neighborhood as a member of the Central City CSI unit investigating some grisly murders that he suspects might have something to do with his mothers own murder and his father is, what Barry believes, falsely accused of.
Casting is under way to find their Barry Allen, and while we don’t have anything to report as of yet, I’m sure in the coming weeks we will get more info little by little. So for the latest on the happenings of The Flash not only on Arrow, but his new TV series as well, keep it locked here at Comic Book Therapy.
