New Character Pics For GOTHAM; Plus, New Trailer Highlights The Good, The Evil & The Beginning
It’s not much of a secret that comic books are taking over our televisions this fall. The CW is leading the charge with the return of Arrow and its spin-off, The Flash, along with the lesser known iZombie. Over at ABC, we’ll have the return of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which took things up a few notches in the final episodes of their freshman season. NBC is getting in on the game with their adaptation of Constantine, centered on John Constantine and the Hellblazer comics. That series, is expected to bring in some new names as well, such as The Spectre. Finally, we have one of the more anticipated series over at Fox, with Gotham.
This highly anticipated series documents the early days of Jim Gordon, when he first signs on as a detective, as well as the origins of several of Batman’s most notorious foes, such as The Penguin, Riddler, Poison Ivy and Catwoman. From what we’ve heard, Gotham is more of a gritty cop drama than it is comic book-like, which is a good thing. It’s heavy, dark and violent. Sound like it’s pretty accurate to me! We’ve got a bunch of new character posters highlighting the main players in the series, as well as new trailer focusing on the baddies and how they seem to be tied to Jim Gordon and the young Bruce Wayne. Check it out!
