New Banner, Clip, And Look At Beorn’s House From THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG

by

hobbit bannerToday seems to be a mini The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug day. A few days ago Peter Jackson held his worldwide live fan event for the sequel coming out  film where he showed those in attendance a 20 minute clip package, and today one of those clips has found their way online (albeit in low quality). Along with the brand new clip comes another banner and a behind the scenes featurette looking at one of the sequel’s big new sets.

The official Hobbit Twitter account unleashed the fresh banner you see above featuring Tauriel, Legolas, the Dwarves, Bilbo, Thranduil chilling out on his throne, and Bard the Bowman taking aim at an unseen enemy. You can click it if you want to see that stunning banner a little larger. Below you can check out a brand new clip for the film. TheOneRing.Net posted the new scene shown during the MTV European Music Awards as introduced by Martin Freeman. The new scene shows Thranduil, Legolas, and Tauriel dealing with an Orc spy. There is no embed, but you can click the picture of the orc to see the full clip. And finally, you can see a brand new featurette showing off the set constructed to serve as Beorn‘s house. The fan-favorite skin-changer character who usually takes on the form of a bear has been absent from previous trailers, but it seems we may be seeing more of him soon. The cast and crew talk about Beorn and his interesting abode in a featurette posted by Denny’s (yes, the restaurant. It is weird). What do you think about the latest clip and behind the scenes look at The Desolation of Smaug? The dragon will be unleashed December 13th.
