Movies With Mitch: The Amazing Spider-Man

So The Amazing Spider-Man is out, and we want to know if you liked the movie or if you hated it. So please let us know below in the comment section. In the meantime check out Mitch’s review of the movie:

We’ve always known that Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield)  was raised by his Aunt May (Sally Field) and Uncle Ben (Martin Sheen) and not by his mother and father. In The Amazing Spider-Man, we now find out why. Like most teenagers his age, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. In his journey to put the pieces of his past back together he uncovers a secret that his father held…a secret that will ultimately shape his destiny as Spider-Man. This is the first in a series of movies that tells a different side of the Peter Parker story. On July 3rd, 2012, the untold story begins.

I think they gave plenty of back story myself I’d give the movie a B+ rather than a C+ myself.

  2. Yossarian says:

There was a lot that I didn’t like about the movie. But I think what they did well, they did AWESOME. But still, there was a lot of problems. C+ or B- for me.

  3. Daniel Swofford says:

The movie gets an ‘A’ from me! Best Spider-man movie yet. It definitely got the bad taste of Spidey 3 out of my mouth. Andrew Garfield is perfect as Peter Parker and Spider-man. He did a wonderful job! I can’t wait to see where they go with the next two films!

  4. C+?! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

  5. swanky says:

I gave it an A, HUGE spider-man fan, more of his comics then any by far, AND I have a huge collection. My son is named Parker :p

All in all, I was very entertained, I thought it had a lot of heart. That’s all I ask from my CBM’s
3D and IMAX helped, as well as the belly full of booze :p
