A double treat on today’s Movies With Mitch!

Killing Them Softly is a 2012 American crime film directed by Andrew Dominik and starring Brad Pitt, based on the 1974 novel Cogan’s Trade by George V. Higgins

Jackie Cogan is an enforcer hired to restore order after three dumb guys rob a Mob protected card game, causing the local criminal economy to collapse.

Playing for Keeps is a 2012 American romantic comedy film directed by Gabriele Muccino, starring Gerard Butler with Jessica Biel, Uma Thurman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Judy Greer, and Dennis Quaid in supporting roles.

A former sports star who’s fallen on hard times starts coaching his son’s soccer team as a way to get his life together. His attempts to become an adult…

Killing Them Softly is probably the worst film I’ve seen all year. Red light scene was the only thing that kept it from being utterly unwatchable.
