Movie Rumors: Lobo And Thor 2

Some pretty interesting rumors have surfaced about the Lobo movie and who the main villain will be in Thor 2. Bleeding Cool has a tipster telling them that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will play The Main Man Lobo in Brad Peyton’s upcoming film for DC. This particular source was, as BC says, an “untested, unknown source” that said Johnson had stated he was playing the role while he was at a Hollywood party. This one should be taken with a large grain of salt since this is a first time source.
One that may be a bit more accurate is what was found out while they were checking the Lobo tip. A more trusted source said that he had a lot of things he couldn’t reveal just yet, but that we should expect The Enchantress to show up. This one was reported with “the utmost confidence.” They are not sure if the role has been cast yet, but they said that Marvel has been looking for somebody to take up the role.
Bleeding Cool is usually correct, more often than not, on their comic book and movie tips so take it with a grain of salt but don’t completely dismiss it. The Enchantress was rumored to be in the first Thor, but that didn’t turn out. With Thor 2 focusing more on Asgard, it seems like this would make perfect sense. And if Marvel is going to introduce The Enchantress, it is probably a safe bet to expect The Executioner. I’m sure we’ll have more solid info on this in the coming months, but what do you think?
