The sequel to The Expendables gets a couple of new images featuring Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, and Sly Stallone. The sequel is shaping up to be the ultimate action movie of 80s superstars.
It opens up August 17th and stars Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Liam Hemsworth, and the muscles from Brussels himself Jean Claude Van Damme.
The official synopsis:
The Expendables are back and this time it’s personal… Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren),Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) — with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard — are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time — six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that’s nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother. That is done the Expendables way….

Also a first look image of Ed Norton in the new Bourne movie, The Bourne Legacy, found its way online along with a few words from writer-director Tony Gilroy. The director speaks about how the events of the previous Matt Damon Bourne films play out in Legacy:
Everything that happened before was not a dream. Everything that happened was completely real, but you thought you knew what was going on. You thought you were seeing the world, and this movie is telling you that there’s a much larger world, a much larger conspiracy beyond this. The events of the other three films are incredibly present, but they’re not really in this very much. What happens in Ultimatum is really the spark that’s blowing open the door to this movie because the Jason Bourne story is exploding out into the public. Being impossible to conceal any further is causing problems for this much larger conspiracy. Ultimatum plays in the background of the very beginning of this film.

J.J. Abrams new Star Trek movie is still super secret, but this set picture involving Spock in a volcano suit has surfaced plus a description of what was happening in the scene:
After first rehearsing the scene with a Spock’s stunt double actor, Zachary Quinto was then rigged to a wire in front of a large green screen and lifted to a height of 10 stories high then dropped at a high rate of speed as if he was falling. In the scene Spock is wearing a “Volcano Suit” and carrying an unknown piece of equipment with the Starfleet emblem. A volcano is somehow involved in this scene. The crew had a real fire burning off camera to catch the fire reflections on Spock’s “Volcano Suit”.

And last but not least, a photo of Aaron Eckheart in I, Frankenstein in full costume and make-up has been captured. The film is based on the comic by Kevin Grevioux and stars Eckhart, Socratis Otto, Yvonne Strahovski and Miranda Otto, the film tells the modern-day tale of Dr. Frankenstein’s creature, who nearly centuries after his “birth”, has found himself in a gothic city, caught up in a war between two immortal clans.
