The next X-Men related movie fans will see is The Wolverine, featuring Hugh Jackman as the title character in Japan. Early details point to a great looking film with a good story.
Truthfully, just about anything would be better than X-Men Origins: Wolverine (not a bad movie, but certainly could have been better). While the July 26, 2013 release date is still pretty far off, promotional material is starting to creep out. Just take a look at the fantastic international motion poster below. That’s the Wolverine I want to see in a movie.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
The Wolverine opens on July 26th, 2013.
