More Villains Month Previews: Poison Ivy, Bizarro, Count Vertigo And Relic

by

This Wednesday the villains are taking over the DC Universe. Villains Month kicks off September 4th with the first wave of villain-centric titles hitting comic book stores. We’ve already seen some previews for Darkseid and Cyborg Superman (click here for those), but now we’re getting a look at Poison Ivy, Bizarro, Count Vertigo, and Relic.

Poison Ivy will be taking over Detective Comics in a story written by Derek Fridolfs with art by Javier Pina. We’ll be getting a glimpse into Ivy’s not-so-happy childhood. In the pages of Superman, we’ll be seeing Lex Luthor inadvertently creating the monstrosity known as Bizarro. That story is written by Sholly Fischo with art by Jeff Johnson and Andy Smith. Count Vertigo will steal Green Arrow’s spotlight as the villain’s twister origins get a New 52 makeover. Jeff Lemire will be scripting that story with art by Andrea Sorrentino. Finally, Relic will be the latest baddie to take on the Lantern Corps. The story by Robert Venditit with art by Rags Morales and Cam Smith will tie into the regular Green Lantern story. What do you think about the latest previews? Will you be picking these up Wednesday?
