Michael C. Hall Says He Would “Consider It” If Offered DAREDEVIL

daredevilFans had been throwing out Michael C. Hall‘s name to play Matt Murdock.even before Marvel announced they would be making a Daredevil Netflix series. Fans have been wanting the Dexter star to play the Man Without Fear for years and years now. With the announcement that the blind hero would be the first Netflix series out of the gate, rumors have reemerged that Hall is up for the role. In a recent interview with Vulture, the actor says he would be interested in the role if someone wanted to talk to him about it.

While speaking with the site at the premiere of his Broadway show The Realistic Joneses, Hall was asked about those Daredevil rumors that pop up from time to time. The actor said, “I’ve heard them, but I think that’s all they are- rumors. Don’t misunderstand, I would definitely consider it…but I can’t tell you any inside information, because I think they’re nothing but rumors.” The actor just finished up a long run on the hit TV series Dexter so the question is would he want to sign back up for a TV venture. He says he would, “I really am enjoying mixing it up a little bit, and I’m committing to things that have a foreseeable end in sight when I start them, but I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of [a new series] happening at some point. But I’d have to read the script!

Hall is 43 now, so Marvel may have plans to go younger so they can get a few Netflix series and a movie or two out of whoever they chose as Matt. It is interesting that Hall has heard the rumors and is interested in the role though. That’s something for supporters of the actor to hold on to for now. With Daredevil shooting this summer, we should be hearing casting news soon. Would you like to see Hall put on the red tights?
