It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the Fantastic Four reboot. We know that Josh Trank (Chronicle) is hard at work on a contemporary take on Marvel’s first family, but that’s about it. Today Fox’s Marvel movie consultant Mark Millar Tweeted that the film has found a producer in Millar’s pal Matthew Vaughn.
Just off the phone with Fox and some excellent news – Matthew Vaughn is producing Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot!

Vaughn directed First Class, so he has the Marvel experience. He is also attached to pretty much anything Mark Millar does so this isn’t too big of a surprise. Chronicle was absolutely fantastic, so hopefully Vaughn uses a light hand when working with Trank. The film is slated for a March 15, 2015 release. What do you think about Vaughn’s involvement?
