Marvel’s Phase One Box Set Will Feature Phase 2 Teasers
By Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell on Nov 20, 2012 with Comments 2
Marvel’s 10 disc Phase One box set featuring 6 movies was delayed this September due to a legal dispute over the suitcase design that was being used as the case for the set. While the set’s release won’t have the suitcase, it will still have the glowing Tesseract cube when it is released in April. EW has learned that the new release will have some new stuff included that will get fans excited.
According to EW, the time between the initial release and the new April date has allowed Marvel time to add a “showcase of the studio’s upcoming Phase Two slate of movies” to the Phase One set. Along with those teasers, there will be deleted scene from each of the past films including an alternate Thor ending.
Kevin Feige was mum about what would be included from Phase Two, but he said there would be footage, concept art, and a few “new surprises.” We know that there is Ant-Man test footage. That reel was shown at Comic Con earlier this year. Could it be included in the Phase One set? Are you going to be getting this now that there’s Phase Two material included?
