MARVEL Releases A Dozen New Images From CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER

by

captain america bannerMarvel has released 12 new stills for the highly-anticipated Captain America sequel from the Russo brothers. We know the studio must be pleased since they’ve already invited Joe and Anthony Russo back for the third film, but we’ll have to wait until the April 4th release to see what all the fuss is about. To help make that wait a little easier (or harder depending on your disposition), we’ve been getting new images, trailers, and snippets of footage from The Winter Soldier. The latest batch of images show off characters like Cap (Chris Evans), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), and Alexander Pierce (Robert Redford) of course, but we also get a better look at George St-Pierre as Batroc, Emily VanCamp as Agent 13, and Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill as well. There is also a very nice shot of The Triskelion too. What do you think of the new images?

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier.
