Mark Sheppard Bumped To Regular On SUPERNATURAL
We don’t often report on the hit CW series Supernatural here at Comic Book Therapy, but with the series winding down, I figure it’s time we pay a bit of attention to it. The series just wrapped its ninth season with a major twist that many didn’t see coming. The two main stars, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, have signed contracts for one more season and it’s unclear whether the duo will extend or not, so it’s entirely possible that the tenth season may be the swan song for Supernatural.
As a part of that little twist ending, The CW has upped Mark Sheppard, who plays the fan-favorite self proclaimed King of Hell Crowley, to a series regular. With the events that will likely unfold, Crowley will play a major role in how things play out. Not long ago, we learned that Misha Collins had also been promoted. Could we be seeing a Sam/Castiel versus Dean/Crowley battle in the upcoming season? It will be interesting to see where they go. Supernatural will return to the CW later this fall.
