Malekith And Heimdall Feature In New Thor: The Dark World Posters

by

A brand new Thor: The Dark World character poster has hit, and it features Malekith the Accursed (Christopher Eccleston) leading his army of Dark Elves into battle. Behind Malekith is  his huge Black Ark ship, named the Fist of Malekith. The gigantic vessel is the very same one we’ve seen ripping through London in several of the trailers and TV spots. You can see just how massive it is by comparing it to some of the other Dark Elves’ ships flying around. Marvel‘s Twitter account also revealed a new poster for Heimdall (Idris Elba) standing watch over Asgard. This is the first poster for the character, and once again confirms that he’ll have a much larger role to play in the sequel. Thor: The Dark World thunders into theaters November 8th. What do you think about the latest poster?

Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.
