The marketing team at Fox is going full throttle promoting the highly anticipated X-Men: Days of Future Past, which will be in theaters in just under two weeks. Part of their new plan is to highlight some of the mutants that are in the film. Last week, we got a good look at Quicksilver, played by Evan Peters. The character is said to have several screen-stealing moments in the film, which is honestly quite surprising.

Today, there’s a new “Power Piece” that focuses on the Master of Magnetism, played by both Michael Fassbender and Ian McKellen. We already know that Magneto has very impressive powers and they’ve been displayed many times in films and in comics, and from the trailers we’ve seen, this film will be no different. There are a few glimpses of new footage in the clip, but most of what is included is new. Still, a pretty cool demonstration of powers.

Days of Future Past has been receiveing mostly positive reviews, with some folks saying it’s the best of the franchise. Others have stated that it serves as a bit of a lead-in piece to future films, namely X-Men: Apocalypse, which is slated for a 2016 release. You can be the judge of that in just a few weeks when the film hits theaters. Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Evan Peters, Peter Dinklage and many more star in the film.
