Mads Mikkelsen Not In Thor 2 After All
By Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell on Jul 12, 2012 with Comments 7
It was reported not too long ago that actor Mads Mikkelsen, probably best known as the villain in the James Bond movie Casino Royale, would be taking on a baddie role in Thor 2. Well it turns out he won’t get to travel to Asgard.
While doing interviews on the set of his new movie Move On, Mikkelsen said that his schedule wouldn’t allow him to be in the sequel. Mikkelsen is going to play Hannibal in the TV series which also pulled David Slade from Daredevil. After addressing the Thor 2 question Mikkelsen went on to talk about the Hannibal role.
It would be interesting to find out who Mikkelsen had talked to Marvel about playing, but we may never know. With him out, the only big rumor on the villain front besides Loki is the Enchantress. Thor 2 will start shooting before long, so we’ll know more in the coming months.
