Looks Like We Get A Lord Of The Rings LEGO Game
It’s being reported that Warner Brothers will put out a LEGO Lord of the Rings game, as many expected. Packaging for LEGO’s new line of LOTR toys based, based off the Peter Jackson trilogy, has revealed that the game is well on its way. The game was confirmed based on a brochure for the new toys. This was a major slip-up that European online store ShopTo backed up with a pre-order post that was quickly yanked down. The release date listed was october 26, although that could be the European release since that is where the site is based out of.
This makes since, the first part of The Hobbit comes out towards the end of this year and a game for the original three films makes perfect sense. While we prepare for Bilbo to go on a journey, we’ll be able to play with Frodo and the gang as they journey to destroy the one ring.
Kotaku has a look at the LEGO toys, which I used as a banner because it’s pretty neat, as well as a picture from the back of the Mines of Moria set from Toys R Us that has a teaser image for the game.
