Looks Like Lee Pace Will Be The Villain In Guardian Of The Galaxy
You might remember Lee Pace was on the short list, and even auditioned to play, Star-Lord in the James Gunn directed space epic for Marvel. Though he lost out to Chris Pratt to be the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, he got a good consolation prize- the film’s villain.
According to The Wrap‘s Jeff Sneider, Pace is in final negotiations to play the villain in Disney and Marvel‘s first big space movie. It’s not clear right now who the actor will play, but it’s a safe bet that we will be hearing a lot more about it in the coming weeks. Pace, known for his outings in Twilight and The Hobbit, will face off against Chris Pratt‘s Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana‘s Gamora, and Dave Batista‘s Drax. This also seems to hint that the main villain won’t be Thanos. That doesn’t mean the Mad Titan won’t be in the film, I just don’t think Pace is going to be the man to bring him to life. What do you think? Any guesses on who he will play?
