Looks Like Judge Dredd 3D May Be Getting A Sequel…In Comic Book Form At Least

by

Dredd banner helmetJudge Dredd 3D is sitting with a 78% approval score on Rotten Tomatoes right now. The film was a huge success with fans and critics, but it didn’t do so well at the box office. A trilogy had been outlined, but it looks like our chances of a sequel are as close to zero as it can get. Karl Urban may not bring Mega-City One’s best Judge to life on the big screen again, but 2000AD may be continuing the Dredd 3D adventures.

IGN was sent this teaser asking a big question. No other details were revealed at the time, but the site figures Comic Con would be a good place to make an announcement. What do you think the magazine is planning? Do you hope it’s a straight continuation from the movie?
