LOCAL COMIC BOOK & GAME SHOP HOLDS AUCTION TO BENEFIT HOMELESS YOUTH

Inspired by the fictional heroes they admire, local superheroes and dragon slayers put their money where their heart is.
Heroes and Villains strives to live up to the first half of their name this October by auctioning off rare comics, gaming materials and pop culture collectibles to benefit Tucson’s Open Inn — a local charitable organization dedicated to helping Tucson’s homeless youth, and their families.
Buzz-generating items up for auction this year include: an Amory Wars graphic novel signed by Claudio Sanchez (the lead singer/guitarist of Coheed and Cambria), an original oil painting of the character of your choice by Jason Pedersen (comic book artist), a copy of The Original Superman on Television signed by Noel Neil (the first actress to portray Lois Lane), a custom Magic: The Gathering playmat by Liz Danforth (painter of dozens of Magic cards), and dozens of variant cover comics, statues, and action figures.
Interested parties may bid on items all throughout the month of October.
Bids may only be placed in-store.
The Auction ends the last Saturday in October (Oct. 27th) at 4pm.
