Lightning Strikes In New THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Promo Pics

by

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been riding a big promotional wave the past few days after a strong outing at the Super Bowl this past weekend followed by a rather spectacular four-minute long sizzle reel. We’ve already seen a few trailers, some teasers, and countless pics from the Marc Webb directed sequel, but today a new batch of images can be added to the already impressive pile. Yet another great look at the new suit Andre Garfield will be wearing has surfaced via seven promo images from the recently released mobile app. Marvel_Spider posted the new pics, and one gif-errific pic of Spidey riding the lightning, on the SuperHeroHype forums. Twitter’s @_NerdyGeek_ found the first two pictures you see below. One is another promo image but the other shows Peter Parker working on his improved webshooters. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters May 2, 2014. What do you think about the new look at the web-slinger’s suit?

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
