Latest Look At Thor: The Dark World Adds a Bit More Talking
In just under two month’s time, the highly anticipated sequel to Thor will be flying into theaters. We’ve seen a few trailers hit the web and some leaked footage that was shown at SDCC- one that hinted a bit of a spoiler. As we move closer to the November 8th release date, we’ll be seeing some new TV spots and hopefully some more full-length trailers as well. Tonight, we take a small step to that goal with an “extended” look at the most recent full-length trailer. With it comes a bit more footage as well as some new dialogue that we haven’t heard before. The trailer confirms the fact that The Dark World is taking a bit more of a bleak take on the world of Asgard and its inhabitants. One thing I’m looking forward to is that it seems more of the film will actually take place in Asgard, rather than on Earth, a problem many fans had with the first film. All in all, I think this should be a pretty good follow-up and I look forward to seeing what director Alan Taylor can do on a big budget.
Thor: The Dark World will see Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Jamie Alexander and Stellan Skarsgård all reprise their respective roles. Christopher Eccleston, Zachary Levi and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje have all joined the cast.
