Kevin Smith Teases There Will Be BATMAN VS SUPERMAN Art During The MAN OF STEEL Event
After a cryptic message from the offical Man Of Steel Facebook page last week that read: “Tune in shortly for a special announcement.” Naturally fans were at a fever pitch at what it could mean. Were we getting our first look at Ben Affleck as Batman for Batman Vs Superman, was we going to get a look at the possible new Superman suit, it was anyone guess. It’s hard to say anyone was disappointed, but it wasn’t quite the landmark reveal everyone was hoping for. In fact it was that Zack Snyder would be a part of an event hosted by Kevin Smith to answer questions about the blu-ray release for Man Of Steel.
But that may not be all. Smith was on the Hollywood Babbel-On Podcast where he talked a little about the event. Brace your self fans, we might have some Batman Vs. Superman goodies on the way. Said Smith, “They’re doing a special on Yahoo that I’m hosting, Zack Snyder is the featured guest, but it’s all about Man of Steel. So it’s me, Zack Snyder, Amy Adams, Henry Cavill is on video from London or he may even be on set with us, and then there’s some Michael Shannon stuff. So it’s an hour long, it’s free, it’s on the internet, but it’s just kind of to be like ‘Hey, Man of Steel is coming out!’ But there’s two things, there might be announcements during this show and the one thing I do know is there’s artwork going to be on this show that may or may not have something to do with a movie that’s coming up.”
So if what Smith is telling us is true, be on the look out for some art work from the upcoming Batman Vs Superman movie during the event. Maybe we will indeed get our first look at Affleck suited up as The Bat. One thing is for certain, you don’t want to miss the even on November the 9th.
