Jim Starlin Returns To Marvel With THANOS: THE INFINITY REVELATION

by

t2Jim Starlin has been teasing a big 100-page Marvel project on his Facebook page for the past few months, not saying much other than the fact it would probably include Thanos. Well today details of a new project that reunites Starlin with the character he created has been announced. Newsarama revealed that the legendary cosmic writer’s new comic is the latest entry in Marvel‘s original graphic novel line.

It was revealed that 2014 will see the release of Thanos: The Infinity Revelation. This will be Starlin‘s fifth Infinity story for Marvel, the most notable being the Infinity Gauntlet crossover that seems to be playing a big role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Starlin told the site a little bit about his new graphic novel:

Thanos: The Infinity Revelation finds the so-called Avatar of Death on the precipice of a universe-wide catastrophe caused by Thanos himself. Rarely seen major cosmic forces such as Eternity, Infinity, and the Living Tribunal come onto the scene to witness this universe-ending threat, and Thanos finds himself working with the man he once killed but might be his only friend, Adam Warlock.

The writer also teased the inclusion of cosmic characters like the Silver Surfer, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and even the Annihilators as Thanos and company fight against “universal change.” Now that the cat is out of the bag, I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot more about Marvel‘s latest entry in their ever expanding graphic novel line. What do you think about Starlin coming back to tell another Thanos story?
