Jean Grey To Appear In The Wolverine?

Shooting for The Wolverine is well underway with Hugh Jackman and company. We’ve seen some photos from the set and know a little about how the film is shaping up. Well…we thought we knew how it was shaping up. Today wegotthiscovered.com revealed a pretty big cameo for the James Mangold reboot of sorts for everyone’s favorite Canadian berserker. Let’s take this with a grain of salt for now.
According to the aforementioned site, Famke Janssen has flown into Sydney, Australia where filming is taking place to shoot a cameo. As you well know, Janssen played Jean Grey and The Phoenix in the original X-Men trilogy. She has also hinted that she would be reprising the role again in an X-Men film. Many thought it would be the time hopping Days of Future Past.
It’s not certain at this time how Janssen will fit into the film, it could be something as simple as a flashback. However, with Mark Millar talking so much about Fox’s Marvel properties, this could be the start of a connected world for those films. Stay tuned, if we hear more you will too.
